Product Description
Steel Plate Pretreatment Line with Shot Blasting and Painting System
The preservation line (Steel pretreatment line) is a complete blasting and painting line that can be easily integrated into existing production lines, consisting of independently modified conveyor systems, a preheater, shot blasting machine, paint booth, and a post treatment dryer.
Conveyor systems can be chosen according to individual requirements, along with roller conveyors, travel grates, and transversely conveyor, etc. It is process to treat the surface of the steel plate by shot blasting, and coated with protective paint before the treatment (in the raw material state). The preservation line can improve the corrosion resistance of mechanical products and metal parts, enhance the fatigue resistance of steel plates, extend the service life of mechanical products, and also optimize the steel surface for further treatment.
In addition, due to the relatively regular shape of the steel plate, and it is easy to perform mechanical rust removal and automatic painting through processing. Therefore, the cleaning efficiency will be greatly improved, labor intensity and environmental pollution will be effectively reduced too.
Roller conveyor lines are an essential part of the overall preservation system. The components (steel plate, steel pipe or steel section) continuously pass through the pre-treatment chamber, the blasting chamber and the cleaning chamber, on a special roller conveyor. The high performance turbines mounted on the blasting chamber ensure full coverage under controlled process conditions, and result in the desired cleaning effect.
Steel plates can be processed in widths ranging from 1m to 6m. It can also handle general structural steel, such as angle steel, channel steel, I-beam, etc.

The steel plate pretreatment line can work continuously and uninterruptedly, and can remove scale, clean and pretreat various steel materials such as steel plates, steel products, steel beams, steel sections, steel pipes and steel castings in a continuous passing manner. During the cleaning process, the steel structure or steel product is sent into the ejection area in the cleaning chamber by the adjustable speed conveyor roller. All sides of the steel product are hit and rubbed by strong and dense projectiles from different coordinates, so that the scale, rust layer and dirt on it fall off quickly, and the surface of the steel product obtains a smooth surface with a certain roughness. Workpieces are loaded and unloaded at the inlet and outlet rollers on both sides of the cleaning chamber. The projectiles and rust dust that fall on the steel product are blown away by the blowing device, and the separated pure projectiles are used for shot blasting circulation. Dust is generated during shot blasting, which is sent to the dust removal system by the exhaust pipe, and the clean air after purification is discharged into the atmosphere.
Structure:
The equipment is mainly composed of input mixing track, preheating chamber, shot blasting cleaning chamber, transition roller track, paint spraying room, drying room, output roller track, dust removal system and electrical control system.
Working principle:
This equipment is a high-efficiency continuous operation steel pretreatment production line. The steel is sent into the shot blasting cleaning chamber after preheating through the roller track. Multiple high-efficiency shot blasters with different coordinates use projectiles to strike and rub it strongly and intensively, so that the oxide scale, rust and dirt on the surface fall off quickly, and the surface of the steel is cleaned and strengthened. During the shot blasting process, the scattered shot dust mixture is collected at the bottom of the elevator through the chamber funnel and the longitudinal and transverse screw conveyor, and then lifted to the separator at the top of the machine for shot dust separation. The separated projectiles fall into the separator hopper and are sent to each shot blaster through the shot conveying pipeline for recycling. The dust generated during work is sent to the dust removal system by the exhaust pipe, and the purified clean air is discharged into the atmosphere, and the granular dust is captured and collected by the dust collector.
After shot blasting, the steel is sent to the cleaning room, where the residual shot on its surface is cleaned by the cleaning roller brush, and then the high-pressure fan is used for all-round tail blowing. The surface of the workpiece is cleaned and meets the cleanliness standard for painting. The cleaned workpiece is sent to the painting room, where two upper and lower paint sprayers are set up to spray paint on the workpiece. During the painting process, the thickness of the paint film can be adjusted by adjusting the roller running speed, nozzle size and working mode. The steel with surface spraying paint is sent to the drying room for drying. The drying room adopts combustion heating or electric heating. After being dried in the drying room, the workpiece enters the conveying roller at the discharge end, and finally completes the pretreatment of the steel.
