Brief introduction of DAF machine

Dissolved air flotation is one of the most advanced air flotation equipment in the world at present, it is designed to remove industrial and city sewage grease, jelly and suspened solid. According to different sewage, the grease removal rate can reach 95% above, most of the suspended solid can be removed, also, when add folcculant and intermixture, the COD and BOD removal rate can reach 50% above.

Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is a proven and effective physical/chemical technology for treating a variety of industrial and municipal process and wastewater streams. Feature:

Work Principle of DAF machine

1. Add flocculant and intermixture into sewage.Air compressor send air to air tank
2. Pump send flocculating suspended wastewater to the pool.
3. Jet flow device take air to dissolving-air tank,the air will be forced to dissolve into water under 0.35Mpa pressure and forming dissolved air water.
4. The dissolved air water will be sent to air flotation tank.
5. When the press reduce suddenly,air will dissolve out the water and form vast microbubbles,then fully contact the flocculating suspended matter and float to the surface.
6. Surface sludge rollers will collect the solid on the water surface.removing SS and CODcr etc.

Main Structure of DAF machine:

1)Air flotation machine:steel structure, it is the main body and core of DAF, which inside is composed of releaser,uniform distribution device,sewage pipe,outlet pipe,sludge tank and scraper system etc.

2) Dissolved air system is mainly composed of dissolved air tank, air storage tank, air compressor and high pressure pump, dissolved tank is the critical parts of system, its function is realize water and air fully contact , speed up air dissolve, which is a closeness Withstand Voltage steel tank, its inside equip with baffle plate,sleeve, to speed up air and water speed, improve  dissolved air efficiency.

3) Chemical dosing system: metering pump, mixing motor, PE tank .
